Katarina Guillen MA, RP

Registered Psychotherapist

Hello and welcome!

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. My goal is to foster understanding and self-exploration, improve communication, clarify your values and goals to work towards meaningful change, and to strengthen your relationship with yourself and others. I support my clients in connecting with their body's emotional responses, and to further identify and understand their emotions, needs, and values.

Life can be tough, especially if you are feeling stuck, alone, disconnected, burned out, or as if something is missing. You’ve taken the first step in making a change, which is never easy. It takes a great deal of strength and commitment to work on yourself and your relationships, and I am here to offer support and guidance. I believe that our lived experiences impact the way we interact with ourselves and others. Exploring these influences can help us grow, and improve our relationships and communication.

If you are someone that struggles with self-criticism and finds it difficult to offer yourself self-compassion, if you would like to shape your life to be more aligned with your values and goals, if you are experiencing strain in your relationships, or if you’d like to develop coping skills for difficult emotional experiences, I may be a good fit for you.

I am committed to creating a collaborative therapy environment in which you feel safe and supported to explore the challenges you are facing and create meaningful change in your life. My goal is to help you understand yourself and your needs better, and to translate that knowledge into action. I invite you to reach out for a free consult to determine if I may be the right fit for you.
